I know that there is a great deal currently going on in America. 2017 has brought a variety of major political disagreements and more on the seemingly endless issue of racism. Currently we are dealing with extreme brush fires, historic flooding and devastating hurricanes.
In the midst of all of this we must not forget the events of September 11, 2001. We must never forget the tragic events of that day. We should not forget the tears that we shed that day. We must not forget the lives lost that day. We must not forget the courageous acts of heroism that were on display that day. We must never forget those that lost their lives years later as a result. We can not forget the families still impacted emotionally due to the loss that day. But most importantly we must never forget how we as a nation came together as a result.
At a time when this nation seems so divided, unity is what we need. Even with all of the events occurring in America and throughout the world we must Never Forget.
